Empire Gilt metal mounted cheval mirror with single drawer. French walnut, 19th Century. Provenace: Property from the Childs family collection, removed from "Florham", Madison, New Jersey, the 100- room mansion designed by Mckim, Mead and White for Florence Vanderbilt Twombly and her husband, Hamilton Twombly. The building is now part of Fairleigh Dickinson University.
